Based near Eureka Springs Arkansas, Tim Hillwood is a solo guitarist who is mostly known for original and unique guitar instrumentals. The fingerstyle pieces range from melodic folk, to jazz to new age and other genres. These compositions generally come from an intention to uplift and inspire. Tim's guitar playing draws on many influences and fills a room with a wide range of his instrument.

It's a gorgeous large, historic space and great for a Sunday brunch. Haven't been there in a while?

Come! (These places aren't just for tourists.)

Monday, October 5th, at Got a Hold there will be an open mic from 5:30 to 7:30.

(right behind Rowdy Beaver on Hwy 62 Eureka Springs), 

I'lll be hosting it, along with GotaHold. 

We had a sizable crowd last month, and hope to do it again. 

If you are a local musician, or someone who wants to listen to local live music and spoken word, and support it, would you put this date and time on your Calendar?

If you've been to Got a Hold, you know there's a lot to like, from the airy, welcoming space to the huge trees and stage in the back. 

I'll be hosting this second open mic and would LOVE to see a good number of musicians, storytellers and locals show up to enjoy and support it.

 Musicians, poets, storytellers, and comedians are all welcome as long as material remains family friendly. Free.

Inaugural Eureka Springs Vintage & Artisan Market happens Saturday, October 17, 2026 from 8AM to 5PM at Pine Mountain Village in Eureka Springs.

I'll be playing from 10AM until 1 PM.

Event Details

Date & Time: Saturday, October 17, 2026 (also running Friday, October 16), from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Location: Pine Mountain Village (306 Village Cir, Eureka Springs, AR 72632).

Admission: FREE for all shoppers and attendees.

Parking: Free parking available on-site at Pine Mountain Village.

What to Expect: A large selection of vintage finds, antiques, handmade artisan goods, local art, collectibles, specialty boutiques, and food trucks. It coincides with the busy War Eagle Weekend in Northwest Arkansas.

Saturday Oct 17th from 6 to 8 PM at the Frisco Sporting Area behind Crescent Hotel.

I often play electric guitar here, with upbeat backing tracks behind the improvisation.

The intention behind this original guitar music is to uplift and inspire.

This Venture Out album was recorded as a personal triumph as I went through the year long process of healing after breaking my left hand over 2 decades ago.

It's also a musical reminder that I hope inspires others to overcome challenges or create a compelling path.

There is power in making a CHOICE other than what appears to be a predictable future.
